Designs for Health is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of nutritional supplements offered primarily through health care practitioners. This rapidly growing company has two manufacturing plants and four distribution centers in the United States and distributes products in five continents.


Position
Description

The Business System Analyst is responsible for building standard operating procedures, process flows, system documentation, change specifications, and data analysis for Operations, including but not limited to: Manufacturing/Distribution and ECommerce


Principal Responsibilities

  • Work with internal customers to document flows and build dashboards to highlight key performance indicators of the business
  • Analyze transaction data with a view of optimizing processes and reducing costs
  • Work with business line management to introduce changes and assess the impact of the changes to the business using dashboards and presentations
  • Work with other members of the IT Business Partner division to ensure IT integrations, data, people, and material flow as optimally as possible
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of industry best practice and emerging trends and technologies for Manufacturing/Distribution and ECommerce
  • Negotiate and champion change when the solution may be ambiguous or complicated
  • Delivering regular reporting to the business units
  • Deliver recommendations to optimize flow of people, information, and material for the business units
  • Consistent demonstration of key competency areas.


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with data related to manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce, or related industries
  • Experience of analyzing large sets of transaction data to identify patterns and trends through Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to mine data using complex data joins
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English and the skills to communicate complex concepts and results to customers via phone & email
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities and experienced in effectively managing internal and external customer needs
  • Familiarity and experience working with an ERP (Sage X3 and Netsuite strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with API connections and integration platforms
  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts, systems and data flows (WMS, TMS, etc)


Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with working with Dashboard tools such as, but not limited to, PowerBI, Tableau, and QlikSense
  • Familiarity with data warehouses & connectors such as, but not limited to, Snowflake and Fivetran
  • Familiarity with payment gateway tools such as, but not limited to, Cybersource, Authorize.net, & Paypal
