Primary roles and responsibilities

• Assists with opening and closing duties as required
• Restocks the bar with supplies, including straws, napkins, napkins, glassware)
• Responsible for preparing required garnishes, juicing citrus and other fresh ingredients for our cocktails
• Ensures bar is well-stocked at all times during service with ice, liquor and wine
• Keeps the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glasses and utensils and emptying trash
• Understands our cocktail menu offerings and their respective recipes
• Provides additional assistance to the service staff as needed
• Processing payments especially during peak hours

Requirements

• Training or certification in related field, an asset
• Experience working in a similar role, an asset
• Must be of legal drinking age
• Upholds a professional appearance
• Knowledge of wines and spirits, an asset
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well under pressure and take direction
• Is observant and has a strong sense of urgency
