SUMMARY:
The Assistant Registrar is responsible for supporting all functions related to the Office of Student Records, which includes undergraduate and graduate (future), on and off campus, distance and special programs. The primary duties include the management of student transfer evaluations, maintenance of articulation agreements and transfer roadmaps, and facilitating transfer of coursework while working efficiently within the student information system (Empower). A bachelor's degree is required (master's degree preferred), plus a minimum of 1 year experience in an academic setting, preferably a Registrar's Office. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to a collegial and collaborative administrative leadership style, have proven ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, act decisively and possess strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a working knowledge of current records, registration, and enrollment policies and trends, as well as technological developments as they relate to a Registrar’s role.
