A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Your schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
As the new Assistant Director, you can expect to oversee daily operations at our school, ensuring a high level of education and care for our students with disabilities. You wear many hats as you supervise staff, maintain the program census, ensure adequate staff coverage, and more.
You are meticulous as you complete paperwork for billing, conduct education evaluations and teacher observations, review lesson plans, oversee the administration of state assessments, submit statistics and reports, and keep up with daily observation notes for the students.
As an excellent resource for our teachers, you share your thorough knowledge about children with disabilities and other special needs and provide resources and referral information. You also organize team meetings, assist in staff development and teacher recertifications, and take part in engaging families in our educational program. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A ASSISTANT DIRECTOR?
A master's degree and three years of experience as an administrator in an early childhood education program are preferred but not required. Are you organized with great time management skills?
