Hours: Full-time, remote (but should be located in greater LA area in order to complete occasional in-person tasks/trainings)

The Library Foundation of Los Angeles provides critical support to the Los Angeles Public Library resulting in free programs, resources, and services available to the thousands of adults, children and youth in Los Angeles. Position Description
The Library Foundation (LFLA) seeks a highly organized, skilled, and self-sufficient Accounting Manager to conduct and optimize our accounting processes. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily management of accounting functions and operations, ensuring the financial system is accurate and efficient. This role will manage the monthly and year-end accounting cycles and support the preparation of annual financial statements, fiscal reporting, audit and other IRS tax documents.
The ideal candidate is an experienced accountant with a deep knowledge of the nonprofit sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will lend your accounting expertise to improve systems and processes within an established non-profit institution and play an integral role in supporting Los Angeles Public Libraries.
