Job Description

Perfect as a part-time weekend job for students or as a second job for those that already work weekdays. We are looking for BARTENDERS with a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service. Hourly rate is $26. Tips from guests may be accepted (and are common) but are not guaranteed or promoted using tip jars or signage.

Minimum one year experience in catering/event bartending mandatory! bars can be extremely fast paced with guest counts averaging 75-250 on a regular basis.

• Knowledge of basic bar drinks along with the ability to be creative when a guest has a special request
• Adapt to different bar packages and signature drinks from event to event
• Be warm and welcoming to guests, even when very busy
• Bars are both built-ins and satellite so must be able to lift crates & boxes of wine/beer/liquor and racks of glassware in order to stock bars and clean at the end of event. Some events have multiple bar set-ups in various locations.
• Be quick and thorough when setting up bars and keep your area clean and presentable at all times.
• Follow all guidelines regarding serving alcohol safely, no overserving, communicating with event captain when necessary, etc.

ALL POSITIONS REQUIRE AVAILABILITY FRIDAY-SUNDAY.

• Saturdays are currently our busiest with Fridays quickly ramping up and soon Sundays will be full as well...shifts will progressively become more and more available as we move through spring to summer and we will stay busy until November/December.
