Job Summary:

The perfect candidate for this role is adept in all areas of front-end web development with demonstrated experience developing in both HubSpot AND Shopify. In addition, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of variety in your day-to-day tasks. You will spend your time each day building out new pages or module templates, fixing bugs, scoping custom functionality, implementing themes, and coming up with creative solutions to address client requests.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $80,000


What You'll Do:

  • Maintain existing HubSpot and Shopify themes by adding enhancements and fixing bugs.
  • Create custom templates and modules for use in HubSpot themes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clients services, UX, and designers) to translate client needs into developing custom themes for both new and existing Shopify stores.
  • Install, configure, and customize 3rd party apps into clients’ Shopify Stores.
  • Install and customize 3rd party marketing tools such as Klaviyo and HubSpot on Shopify stores.
  • Oversee the migration of client stores from other e-commerce platforms into Shopify.
  • Provide guidance on Shopify store best practices to clients.
  • Offer recommendations for best practices and efficiencies. From strategy + UX, to design, to development, to internal and external QA, to post-launch support, you’ll be there to offer insight on behalf of the development team.
  • Identify and recommend improvements and upsell opportunities for client websites on HubSpot or Shopify.
  • Utilize strong attention to detail to create quality code based on internal web development standards.
  • Provide realistic scoping and timeline estimates for work and deliver on those timelines.
  • Responsible for the improvement and maintenance of web development processes by proactively gathering input from internal and external stakeholders and providing feedback and suggestions to management.


What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 3 Years of experience developing sites in the HubSpot CMS required
  • Minimum 3 Years experience developing sites in Shopify required
  • Minimum2 years of Agency or Dev shop experience servicing clients required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of DNS
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices Comfort working with APIs is a plus
  • Experience integrating Klaviyo and Shopify is a plus
  • The ability to communicate challenges clearly and effectively to stakeholders, project management, and business leaders
  • Highly organized, self-starter is a required
  • Experience using project management and bug-tracking tools
  • Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git
