Overview

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Receiving department employees, driving for results and excellence in accordance with company standards and goals.

The Supervisor assists the Warehouse Operations Manager in providing direction to complete all receiving department assignments with a hands-on approach.

Essential Functions

• Schedules freight deliveries and plans space requirements for the staging of incoming shipments
• Approves overages/shortages as required
• Prioritizes, delegates, and monitors the work assignments of workers in the Receiving department
• Provides training and coaching to new and existing employees
• Elaborates performance evaluations for direct reports
• Ensures compliance with employee work schedules including use of overtime hours
• Adheres and ensures adherence of direct reports to all safety rules and regulations
• Encourages and promotes by example a positive and harmonious work environment
• Comply with all company safety rules and regulations
• Maintain orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Other tasks as assigned and/or needed

Non-essential functions

• Provides coverage for other supervisors when necessary
• Makes recommendations for manning levels

Required Qualifications and Education

• 2+ years’ experience in a Supervisory position in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
• Above average mathematic, organizational, and time management skills
• Good MS Suites skills (Excel, word, and Outlook)
• Ability to work well in a team, results oriented and attention to detail
• Power sports industry knowledge is a plus

• Must be able to move up to 80 pounds, employees are encouraged to use good judgment with heavy or bulky packages, seek help when lifting objects exceeding 35 pounds

• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and stairs

Pay: $46,342.00 - $62,694.00 per year
