A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

As a certified vet technician, you are the right-hand to our veterinarians. You assist in comforting and restraining our four-legged patients in exams, surgeries, and dental procedures. Specifically, you maintain and monitor anesthesia, collect specimens, run lab tests, place catheters, perform radiographers, and take x-rays. We rely on you to keep accurate and thorough medical records. You help keep our animal hospital clean and our equipment sterilized. You ensure an exceptional client and patient experience as you manage the flow from check-in, to the exam, to check-out. With professionalism and compassion, you communicate with pet owners, veterinarians, and our hospital team. Guiding and mentoring others is one of your strong suits. CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• Fear Free and HABRI certification or desire to become certified
• Covid Vaccinated

CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT certifications are preferred, but we will consider experienced techs who are not licensed. Do you love people as much as you love animals? CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WORK SCHEDULE

We offer a great schedule for this animal hospital position! You work between 7:45 am and 6:15 pm on weekdays, with rotating weekend treatment shifts. We are closed evenings, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and holidays!
