Scissortail Veterinary Specialists is OKC's latest option for referral surgery. Owned by board certified surgeons Dr. Jodie Lamb and Dr. Brent Newcomb, we are excited to serve Oklahoma City's pets, pet owners, and primary care veterinarians.

We are searching for a receptionist who can provide excellent client care and service to pet owners and their pets. Eligible candidates will be detail oriented, a multi-tasker and comfortable in a busy practice.

Job responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent and expeditious service to both pet owners and primary care veterinarians
• Responding to questions
• Handling payments
• Answering phone calls, which may involve answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail.
• Documenting and maintaining client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software
• Helping to maintain a clean lobby and exam rooms for pet owners and pets

Job Requirements include:

• Genuinely enjoys working with people and animals
• Comfortable with dealing with stressful situations and handling them in a professional manner
• Able to comfortably use veterinary practice software systems (EzyVet in use currently)
• Is experienced in the teamwork approach and works well with all levels of hospital team members
• Experience working in a veterinary clinic beneficial but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
