JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide transportation services at the Abraham and Lillian Turk Recuperative Care Center which provides short-term post-hospitalization housing and medical respite care in a residential setting to individuals experiencing homelessness as well as high medical, psychiatric, and substance use disorder recovery needs and are too ill or frail to recover from illness (physical or behavioral health) or injury in their usual living environment; but are not otherwise ill enough to be in a hospital. The transportation specialist, with support from the program manager and site supervisor is responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of clients served to and from various appointments and providing program support or related tasks as required to support the mission of Interfaith Community Services.
