Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Clin Lab Technologist (40).
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for performing and assessing complex clinical laboratory tests on specimens for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in a timely manner
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a program registered by the NYS Department of Education or Bachelor's Degree in the major of biology, chemistry or physical sciences from an accredited college or university. License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the State of New York based on the on the Special Provision of the Regulations of the Commissioner in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Technology Practice Act. Minimum of six months experience in most laboratory disciplines and especially Hematology. Must be knowledgeable in Quality Control procedures and Laboratory Automation. Effective oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills. Position requires the ability to microscopically identify and differentiate White Blood Cells along with morphological findings. In addition, visually analyze instrument Scatter Plots and Histograms.
Required Licenses: Clinical Lab Technologist-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
NCA/ASCP certification in addition to the minimum requirements

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $49,712.00 - $84,916.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
