Five-0-Five Brewing Company may not be the first brewery in Fremont, but we are the first brewery and taproom! Located in Historic Downtown Fremont in the Sager and Sons Cigar building at 4th and Main Street. We offer handcrafted beer from the heartland. Job Function:

Direct and oversee all essential functions of the Taproom to ensure a world class experience and environment for our valued customers and team members.

Essential Functions:

Maintain a positive environment focused on our customers and the community.

Create a welcoming environment that promotes customer loyalty.

Engage in the community. ex: chamber coffees, downtown meetings, community events, etc.

Lead the taproom staff by engaging and enabling them to be their best.

Hire and train new team members to the policies and procedures for the desired taproom culture. (Opening, during operations, closing, and cleaning)

Schedule staffing levels appropriately to meet customer needs.

Clear communication to the team through daily interactions and staff meetings.

Ensure employees are following correct procedures for opening, closing, and cleaning Taproom.

Create, coordinate, promote/market, and execute brewery events.

Maintain record keeping and status with all regulatory agencies. (Health, alcohol commission, labor, etc)

Manage taproom inventory of supplies, merchandise, and products.

Work bartending and server shifts as needed to support the taproom.

Performs additional duties as assigned by ownership.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must possess at least 2 years management experience or at least 5 years of service experience in a similar industry.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must have or complete a Serve Safe certification and be willing to complete the Bar Professional Master Level Training within one month of being hired.

Must have a customer service focus.

Must be able to lead and collaborate with all areas of the organization and within the community.

Must be proficient or have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) programs.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and proprietary information.
