Summary:

Develops, monitors, tracks, performs and reports financial processes and analysis to maximize operations, improve processes, and increase revenue, while reducing costs as it relates to department financials; scope includes all Operating, Capital and Project Replacement financials and budgets.

Position Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare GAAP based financial statements and flux analysis on a monthly basis for various joint ventures

• Prepare and analyze financial data related to departmental budgets, operating expenses, capital expenses on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. May include Cash Flow Analysis, GAAP compliance, revenues, expenses and accruals for monthly & year-end projections for operating and capital budgets.

• Creating reports, dashboards, benchmarking, and analysis.

• Provide support to management in the financial management process and distribute financial reports as appropriate.

• Develop tools and create standards for tracking and monitoring financial processes for department-specific financials and budgets and mentors and coaches finance staff.

• Provide educational and financial analysis to Operational Managers in order for them to adequately monitor operating expenses, budgeting, balance sheet, capital expenditures and/or cost benefit analysis or other analysis of existing or proposed services with Decision Support System Tools.

• Assisting Accounting Manager and Director of Finance with day to day operational challenges.

• Additional responsibilities include collaborating with a cross-functional team to coordinate all aspects of the month end review and timely communication of risk and opportunities against budgets.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

3-5 years progressive finance/accounting experience focusing on financial analysis and accounting.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

CPA or MBA preferred.
