Acuity, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and self-motived Sr. Business Analyst who is familiar with the ServiceNow platform to join our team in supporting a highly visible Federal customer. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will serve as a dedicated team member who has the primary responsibility to support their self-organizing, self-managing team in successfully achieving their daily iteration, release goals and delivery objectives. You will use your exceptional writing and technical documentation skills to ensure we are delivering high quality and value to our customer. While gathering detailed requirements from stakeholders and analyzing them for a software development effort, you will also mentor the team in its transition to a new method. Although this position is fully remote, you must be fully engaged and well-prepared for virtual meetings during core business hours. Come with the willingness and flexibility to work on-site in the event the client calls a random and/or sporadic meeting.!
Other responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
Define and develop the project scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.- Apply, implement and enforce Scrum principles and best practices. Assist in protecting the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the ability to deliver value in a short time box (iteration).
- Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholders or product owners.
- Help business stakeholders envision how their processes will change with the implementation of the solution.
- Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
- Interact and engage with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs.
- Perform responsibilities utilizing agile or waterfall software development methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with experience in a related Information Technology field.
- Seven(7) to ten(10) years of experience in building requirements to accurately and thoroughly capture business needs and ensure user stories are concise and complete.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules and/or platform.
- Must possess superior consulting skills. Be a clear and effective communicator with an ability to listen and engage.
- Exceptional talent for writing and technical documentation.
- Must have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritizing tasks and mitigating roadblocks.
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines.
- Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s Agile process life cycle.
- Background in creating User Interface designs and mockups.
- Previous experience working with Government clients is highly desirable.

- MUST HAVE ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
