Job Description

We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our Design Technology team. You will be responsible for working with internal teams to develop custom software applications and work on open-source projects managed by HOK.

Required Skills
  • Experience with frontend web development using: HTML, CSS, JavaScript /Typescript, React, Electron, or similar
  • Experience with backend and storage technologies like Node.JS, ASP.NET, SQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as: C#, Python, C++
  • Knowledge of ElasticSearch a plus
  • Ability to effectively meet and accommodate deadlines on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment. Experience using Git in a collaborative manner a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and provide timely feedback and guidance to the Design Team.


Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, architecture, engineering, or related field required.
  • Experience with Azure Develops or similar technologies.
  • Minimum one-year specialist knowledge of software development for building architectural applications preferred.
  • Experience working and coordinating with integrated teams.

The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $106,000 in New York.
