Customer Experience Associate + Social Media Apprenticeship - Sunset Hills

Reports To: Des Peres Store Manager
Exemption Status: Exempt

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Experience Associate with a Research Analyst Apprenticeship, intended to promote professional and personal development while serving on our foundational customer experience team.

As a Customer Experience Associate with an Apprenticeship, you will work closely with your Store
Manager to ensure your store’s operations and customer experience meet the company standard. We provide best-in-class, legendary customer service to all fit-flavors customers through selling meals, smoothies, and other products and services based on the active promotions.

In your Apprenticeship, you will work closely with your Apprentice manager, who will assign projects and provide you with support and resources to successfully complete your projects. Your apprenticeship projects are intended to develop you professionally by gaining experience in project management, problem solving, research and development, attention to detail, leadership, analysis, communication, critical thinking, and innovation. As you develop within your apprenticeship, your projects will grow in depth and impact, preparing you for career growth at fit-flavors!

Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail, food service, or similar management experience
  • The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Desire and willingness to develop professionally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Background and/or interest in health/nutrition industry

Schedule
  • Full Time; 36-40 hours / week
  • Required to work at least 2 week day shifts
    • 9:45 AM - 7:15 PM; Monday - Friday
  • Required to work at least 1 weekend shift
    • 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM; Saturday - Sunday
  • Required to work at least 1 Apprentice shift in your Apprenticeship Department
Compensation
$17 / hour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to walk & move quickly within a busy environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to tolerate cooler environment (40 degree walk-in cooler)
  • Ability to reach with arms, bend, squat, kneel unassisted and use hands, and lift 25 lb cases of food

Key Result Areas & Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience Team
    • Providing best in class customer service to all fit-flavors customers, following the Customer Experience Standard
    • Properly FIFOing the meals in the cooler (dates to keep on bask stock vs front stock)
    • Checking customers out through the POS system
    • Knowledgeable on the food quality and preparations
    • Counting the drawer each shift and being responsible for the money collected during the shift
    • Answering all incoming store phone calls with excellent customer service
    • Attending and actively participating in all monthly Customer Experience Team Trainings, monthly Zoom Update Meetings, and quarterly Company Town Halls
    • Responsible for rotating money in the register drawers as needed (needs to be monitored and checked every shift) - Including weekly bank runs at Bank of America
    • Having flexibility for schedule changes due to business needs
    • Opening and closing the store by yourself
  • Apprenticeship
    • Take full ownership of personal and professional growth and development by leveraging available resources and completing assigned projects
    • Projects may include, but are not limited to:
      • Engage on social media
      • Generate social media ideas in alignment with current promotions
      • Participate in monthly social media content shoot
      • Create social media content
      • Develop the fit-flavors Twitter account
      • Develop the fit-flavors Pinterest account
