Job Description

As a Sales Representative at VulcanForms Inc., you will develop a significant market presence to achieve sales business goals by creating strategy and conducting promotional activities that capitalize on local market conditions. You will be responsible for driving revenue by maintaining and growing annual sales volume. A successful candidate will own customer relationships, understand and target customer product needs, and develop and execute the sales strategy/forecast around those opportunities. You will work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to sell VulcanForms Orthopedic products, becoming a subject matter expert for all current and future customers.


Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work at startup intensity for the indeterminate future.
  • Driven: Strong and continuous sense of urgency regarding all aspects of the business.
  • Extreme integrity: the honest, transparent, direct communicator (up, down, and out).
  • Promote and sell VulcanForms orthopedic implant products.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, close new business, and convert accounts from competitor products.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with target customers in the Orthopedic industry.
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives and goals set by the direct supervisor.
  • Educate & inform current and potential customers of specific product features.
  • Work closely with management to analyze current and future prospects.
  • Keep management informed by submitting Sales activity and results report regularly.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and merchandising techniques.
  • Travel to trade shows and participate in sales meetings and training programs as directed.
  • Foster productive relationships with Marketing, Customer Service, and other key internal stakeholder groups.
  • Utilize CRM to track and log sales contacts and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of orthopedic implant sales experience
  • 2-5 years demonstrated sales success in a competitive B2B industry
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Established relationships in the Orthopedics industry.
  • Documented history of sales quota attainment/exceeding sales goals
  • Strong analytical and statistical problem-solving skills, business acumen, and ability to perform detailed analyses
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior-level executives
  • Ability to travel as needed
