Purpose of the position:

To expose 2nd and 3rd year college students attending a four year university to Foster Farms while they assist the Safety and Engineering department with various projects including:

LOTO Placard Program.

Energy control data gathering.

Entering data on to BOX to make it available to Operations/Safety/ Engineering Departments.

• Must be attending a four year university majoring in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/ Environmental Management or related field.
• Must be a second or third year student with a 3.0 or higher GPA average
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Basic understanding of Ark Flash is and it's purpose.
• Be able to read one-line diagrams/ understanding of the flow of a diagram
• Intermediate understanding of Excel and Word
• Ability to work in a warm/cold/damp, dusty or wet environments
• Disciplined on wearing PPE
• Ability to take good notes, direction and perform duties with minimal supervision
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and an acceptable DMV record
