Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Skilled Nursing Center + Shift Differentials!
Shift Available: 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a
The starting rate for LPN is $40 and for RN is $43 with shift differentials ranging from $1 to $6 per hour more. The rate will depend on shift, day of the week, location, experience, and prior tenure with Maplewood/Inspir Carnegie Hill.

The RN/LPN assists and supports the Director of Nursing Services with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in the community.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervising C.N.A's to ensure quality care is provided at all times
  • Administration of medication, skilled nursing assessments, provide treatments
  • Processes competency in foley catheters, PICC lines, feeding tubes, wound care
  • Skilled care documentation,
  • Communicating proactively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and outside providers

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
  • RN/LPN currently licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts
  • Two years full time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience and/or special interest in working with older adults
  • Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting to 50lbs.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
  • In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases

Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background checks, drug screening, and reference checks.
Due to Department of Public Health requirements, all candidates will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 (1st vaccine, 2nd vaccine, and booster) before commencing work, unless they receive an approved exemption from Maplewood. Those who do not obtain full vaccination and booster within that time frame, without an approved exemption, will be terminated.
