Job Description:
A successful candidate will lead a variety of cross functional projects to include, infrastructure, security and or application development with large and complex uniqueness. These projects will have cross functional impact and large system span. You will develop project plans, risk & issue analysis, training plans, communication plans, etc., to ensure project success. You will assist with establishing project budget, scope, and timeline for large, complex projects and initiatives. Facilitates regular cross-functional team calls and accountable for overall initiative success. You will produce weekly status/program reporting to Executive Stakeholders. You will get the opportunity to work directly with leadership to understand their team’s objectives and key results and then help deliver those initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops project plan detail to include dependencies and critical path.
  • Spearhead and manage all projects through all project’s phases from initiation to closure.
  • Expert at clarifying project objectives to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
  • Responsible for understanding the work to be done and create financial documentation for any capitalizable efforts.
  • Set up, maintain, and track financial status for effort loaded to Project Central.
  • Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, and project planning skills.
  • Apply risk management assessment in project planning / ongoing execution and resolves issues and conflicts associated with management of Medium to Large size project efforts.
  • Role will be required to handle at a minimum 5 Medium, or 2 Large and some Program level projects simultaneously.
  • Create and deliver weekly and program status reporting to the team and executive leadership.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to project team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 7 years project management experience including management of large complex projects with large cross-functional teams.
  • Expert knowledge with Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies, and project management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or Asana.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMI – PMP or PgMP preferred.
