Primary roles and responsibilities

• Replenishes supplies at service stations and tables with necessary supplies before, during and after service
• Polishes all glassware, cups and stemware to be used in the dining room
• Understands and works while upholding general sanitary and safety practice guidelines
• Operates dishwashers efficiently and with care
• Washes glassware and flatware and then polishes it
• Cleans and sanitizes dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
• Assists in receiving and stocking incoming inventory
• Safely handles and stores cleaning products
• Sweeps, mops, and organizes the dish area routinely and as needed

Requirements

• Able to multi-task

• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

• Works well as part of a team while assuming their role independently

• Previous experience working as a dishwasher/polisher, an asset

• Able to work well under pressure, is receptive to feedback and direction

• Excellent organizational skills

• Able to spend long periods of time standing
