Groomit - the nation's first mobile app for pet grooming on demand, is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer / Stylist / Bather to join our team!

You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at the customer's home. Full & Part-Time are available, a minimum of one day/week. Flexible Schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests
  • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Interest in animal welfare
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Bathing dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperament
  • Brushing, fluffing, and drying all dogs in a safe and timely manner
  • Trimming nails, cleaning ears, and removing eye crust
  • Checking anal glands and expressing if necessary
  • Following instructions from Team Manager
  • Identifying and notifying the Customer and Manager of any abnormalities the dog notices (e.g., cysts, scabs, fleas, ticks, sores, anal gland issues, etc.)
  • Cleaning grooming area after use and ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience with dog grooming, all coats, and breeds.
  • Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
  • Passion for helping and treating animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • Comfortable working in customer's home or mobile van

Pay: $49,994.00 - $120,000.00 per year
