Job description
Billings Productions, Inc. (BPI) is a world leader in animatronic dinosaurs and other large animatronic creatures. We are dedicated to creating partnerships with our clients to create amazing exhibit pieces. After 19 years of sending our creations all over the world, we are finally ready to open our doors and share our passion with the public. We invite the public to take a tour of our warehouse and learn about Billings Productions, animatronics, and dinosaurs. We have a large event space for those to visit, a gift shop and we routinely host birthday parties and events!
We are looking for an outgoing individual who loves speaking in front of people, including large groups of guests that visit our facility.
Tour Guides help the Community Relations Manager conduct tours, assist with special events, and support the retail side of BPI. Tour Guides lead a group of visitors through BPI's facility, speaking about the history of the Company, the animatronics, and dinosaurs. Groups mainly consist of elementary-aged children (with adult chaperones), but occasionally have only adult attendees. In addition, you'll be the face of the Company for birthday parties and other events held in our event space for a variety of clientele. The Tour Guide will not actually work on building animatronics, but can definitely grow into that direction if desired. No prior knowledge is necessary, we will teach you about the Company so you can educate others! Just bring your excitement!
