SGS Alaska Division has been the leading full-service environmental laboratory in Alaska for over 50 years. You will be a part of a team that understands the importance of employing qualified, enthusiastic, resourceful people. SGS Anchorage is a full service, ISO accredited laboratory analyzing a variety of matrices for environmental pollutants.

Our Anchorage, AK laboratory is looking for a part-time Lab Assistant to join their team! This position will work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Duties to include assisting lab analysts with any necessary lab-related tasks, such as glassware washing, cleaning coolers, handling samples, etc.

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Strong customer service background (Required)
• Strong oral and written communications skills (Required)
• Strong self-initiative and resource utilization (Required)
• Advanced English language skills (Required)
• Basic mathematical skills (Required)
• Advanced reasoning skills (Required)
• Basic computer skills (Required)

• Ability to work independently and on a team (Required)
• Ability to lift/carry/push and/or pull upwards of 50 lbs on a frequent basis (Required)
