Popchew is building the next McDonald's. Our plan is simple: work with iconic talent and brands to drive order volume through collabs, turning millions of fans into Popchew customers. Collabs are made available nationwide via our asset-light, delivery-only kitchen model allowing us to scale quickly without operating real estate.
Our operations team is the heart and soul of Popchew & is responsible for all critical activities that power our business. Operations defines, implements, and improves the playbooks that support our business through hyper-growth. Operations is where the rubber meets the road. We are looking for an action-oriented intern to support a wide range of operations activities. This is a highly dynamic role that will give you exposure to activities including supply chain, performance management, procurement, quality control, and more. If you love to solve ambiguous, hard problems at scale, working directly with the founders & senior management, this role is for you.
This is not a 'get coffee' kind of role, you will dive in, get your hands dirty, and drive real business outcomes. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to embed with our team to identify & solve core problems to help our team scale.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-starter, and able to take ownership of ambiguous tasks. Every day we do things that have never been done before, and you will need to be comfortable with informed risk-taking.
- An owner personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator, and obsessed over details. You have strong organizational and project management skills and you never stop pushing toward clarity
- Grittiness: you never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others might give up
What You'll Do
- Provide support and guidance to restaurant partners throughout the onboarding process to ensure they are well-equipped to launch and operate our brands effectively.
- Being involved with the day to day operation, management, and communication with restaurant partners to grow their accounts
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions to enhance processes
- Assisting with Research and Development activities, taste tests, feedback, etc
- Direct special projects that would have a direct impact on the company's growth and success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with everybody from the CEO to the busboy
- 40+ hours per week (during the summer)
