The Role

The Lead Operations Analyst is responsible for creating and supporting Mass Markets field operations including processes, standards, compliance testing and test equipment support for central office (CO) and Designed Services/CPE/CSS installation and repair (IR) techs. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth, working knowledge of field operations and industry standards with a practical understanding of roadblocks, issues, and limitations the field faces. This role involves continuously looking for ways to remove roadblocks through technology and lean principles in order to streamline processes, automate daily tasks, improve quality, and reduce cost.

The Main Responsibilities

Develop and maintain written field processes for mass markets Designed Services/CO field operations.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) and owner of processes you develop and maintain.
Support field operations CO/Designed Services in the implementation of processes.
SME in CO, Alarming, Design Services processes, and reporting
SME Designed Services/CPE/CSS field operations.
Understanding of various transport concepts: Multiplexing, Optical Wave, Ethernet, Radio, DWDM/CWDM, FTTT, etc.
Understanding of concepts and network architecture of E911 and NG911
Support special projects for field operations. Project manage and report on weekly calls.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum:

Bachelors or Equivalent and 6+ years related experience
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point and Excel
Extensive experience with Viavi HST 3000, ONX580, EXFO FTB series, OTDR or test meters for similar use.
Extensive experience with fiber and copper facilities in a telco environment
Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance drivers and trends.
Works effectively within tight deadlines and firm schedules.
Exhibits good business judgment with the ability to overcome obstacles and think strategically to solve business problems.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

Masters or Equivalent
4+ years related experience with Masters.
Experience in data analytics
Experience making tutorial videos.
