The team at Myticas Consulting is looking to hire a Senior Systems / Network Administrator responsible for maintaining and administering our client's computer networks. 70 to 80% of the role will be focused on Active Directory and Office 365. 20 - 30% will be focused on Network router and switches.

The position's primary duties include monitoring, configuration, and maintenance of networks, servers, computers, hardware, software, and other related systems. The Network administrator will perform disaster recovery operations as well as ensuring data protection for software and hardware from cyber attacks. Azure cloud experience is a must have.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including firewalls, routers, switches, WAPs, and controllers. A deep knowledge of DNS, application transport, and network infrastructure protocols are highly desired.

This position has remote capabilites when not at onsite installations, configuration and problem-solving at multiple locations as required when needed so Must be local to Chicagoland area.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Expert-level administration experience in on premises networks and MS Azure. 5+yrs preferred.
• Microsoft Server Infrastructure and Networking certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
• Network security experience.
• Must have reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.

License/Certification:

• CCNA (Preferred)
