A Day in the Life as an SDMI MRI Tech: You will screen patients for safe entry to the MRI scan room and adhere to any necessary MRI scan restrictions for patient implants. Planning scans and adjusting parameters as needed to obtain best possible images, starting IVs/drawing up contrast/injecting contrast as needed using a power injector and work with other MRI Techs on other scanners and staff in other departments to main efficient patient flow. You can expect to be scheduled Mondays-Friday, 8 hour shifts, starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 10:30pm (depending on facility). No callbacks and no weekends!
