Medical Office Authorization Specialist (Bakersfield)-

compensation: based on experience
employment type: full-time/Part time to Full time.

New medical office seeking experienced authorization/referral specialist. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in medical field and authorization department
2. Proficient with electronic medical record systems
3. Proficient computer and typing skills
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills is a must
5. Ability to learn quickly
6. Expectations include but not limited to verifying insurance eligibility, medication refills and authorization, referrals.
7. Great team player, flexibility, reliability, efficiency, and accuracy is a must
8. Knowledge about medical insurance, Prior Authorization and working with insurance authorizations is required.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
