AppleCare Service Quality & Technology is a global organization that is seeking an outstanding Material Value and Continuity of Supply Manager who will be involved in the support of warranty redemption, module repair for reuse, and continuity of supply (COS) for all Apple’s products (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods). You are a strong leader with outstanding technical skills. You can work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in product quality, repair, or related field
  • Firm understanding of product qualification methods and standards
  • Shown success leading multiple cross-functional projects
  • The ability to take a data driven and results oriented approach to problem solving
  • Experience with warranty contracts and operation methods to fulfill obligations to acquire maximum value
  • A great teammate with the ability to influence and lead others; strong drive for results
  • Ability to coordinate a team to get results

Description

The Material Value and Continuity of Supply Manager is responsible for leading and improving COS, material value reclamation, and support warranty redemption across Apple’s entire product line including iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, Watch, and Beats. Key responsibilities include the following: Identify and drive COS issues to closure Lead initiatives that improve COS position and find proactive means of reducing risk of future gaps in supply Enable module repair and improve the value that is recuperated for returned modules Work cross-functionally with quality and engineering teams to improve overall material value and availability Support work needed to meet warranty obligations to improve return on warranty contracts Support qualification work to maintain supply options for various parts and modules

Education & Experience

Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,500 and $276,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
