• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
• Possession of license to practice Social Work from the Delaware Board of Social Work Examiners
• Experience in a long term care facility or similar setting
• Knowledge of VA, Medicaid and Medicare regulations and guidelines

• Perform comprehensive mental health examinations through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referral to other specialists.
• Prescribe appropriate forms of treatment and implement appropriate interventions.
• Provide education on psychosocial health issues.
• Plan and institute behavioral health care programs which may include developing therapeutic groups.
• Advising members of the interdisciplinary team on matters relating to behavioral health services and health care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
