Job Summary

The Junior Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with their portfolio of assigned customers, ensuring that the annual revenue plan and margin goals for all assigned accounts are met. Provides direct assistance and support to the Account Manager. The Junior Account Manager will be responsive to client needs and work as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment with flexibility and initiative.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned area.
  • Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with key contacts and decision-makers.
  • Works closely with Account Manager to help support all facility safety requirements and needs.
  • Monitor and maintain customer work order network and refrigerant tracking website.
  • Creates and submits: Invoices, Subcontractor POs, and Quotes within the directed timeline.
  • Coordinate daily service work orders of subcontractors and technicians.
  • Ensure that subcontractors are performing their responsibilities as per agreement.
  • Report any issues to Account Manager.
  • Complete updates in customer work order network and in-house software for customers.
  • Update the customer work order network status and ensure that internal work orders and in-house software aren’t overlooked.
  • Follow up on parts ordered by purchasing.
  • Performs work with awareness of process improvement and will notify Account Manager of any potential or existing issues.

Experience and education:

  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient typing skills to properly document dictation to update systems.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

  • Normal office environment. Occasional light lifting of office equipment, materials, and boxes; frequent walking and standing.
  • Requires dexterity in the use of fingers to operate computers and other office equipment.
  • All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or complete a ride along with a field technician as part of their employment.
