The Role: Implementation Consulting Specialist
The Team: The Professional Services team works with clients globally on implementing a data management platform using S&P’s EDM product. The work is done generally from an S&P office; however, at times team members are required to travel to client sites to assist with onsite implementation activities.
The team is coached and led by a senior Managing Consultant and are trained in using the Markit EDM application and the informational needs of modern financial institutions.

Responsibilities:
Understanding the functional requirements and help design the data management platform for the clients.
Configuring Markit EDM to meet the client specifications.
Testing the project deliverables ensuring they are in line with documented requirements.
Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.
Providing consultancy to clients for business improvements. Investigates and documents existing procedures. Discusses proposed solutions for complex systems with customer.
Mentoring and coaching of less experienced analysts and consultants.
Participation in pre-sales activity including but not limited to demonstrating product functionality and proposed enhancements.
What We’re Looking For:
Information Technology / Computer Science University Degree,
2 to 4 years or equivalent
Appreciation of the Project Management and Project Lifecycle
SQL skills
An interest in the financial world and the technology associated with it
Self-starter with an attention to detail
Good presentations skills (preparation and delivery)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a commission based plan.
