Incredibly unique opportunity to work for a friendly, adventurous, and entrepreneurial family living on a mountain-top 2000 acre preserve. Our family has a private home on the preserve and is opening NewVida- an experiential resort and modern-day club house with a bistro, evening dinner & bar program, lodge and wellness center this June. We're a relaxed gay couple with a 6 yr old, 15 month old twins, and a loving Saint Bernard and will be based on the Preserve near Wilmington, NY in the Adirondack High Peaks full time from the end of June through the end of August. We are seeking a full-time nanny and house manager to support with childcare, light house management and casual dinner preparation for the family 3 times per week. The childcare support for our twins is the primary responsibility, but on occasion we may require some support with our 6 year old as well. Finding someone that can provide a nurturing, learning and stimulating environment is important to us, especially since they'll have a beautiful preserve to explore with the kids all summer long. We're looking for someone that is proactive, can quickly learn the rhythms of the household and identify needs before they arise. Though the position is largely during daytime hours (8am-6pm), some evening hours may be needed. This opportunity includes potential free housing and has the potential to become a full-time year-round salaried opportunity with benefits and paid leave. The year-round opportunity would require the flexibility to travel and reside with the family on their historic farm estate in Rhinebeck, NY for part of the year (just 3 hrs south of the Preserve)- however, this isn't required for the 2 month summer opportunity. Please reach out if interested. Background checks, drug screening and references will be required for any final round candidates. Thank you!
