Information Systems Developer

EMC has an immediate opening for a full-time Information Systems Developer. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills who will be a crucial part of our team. The right candidate would be enthusiastic about learning and continuous improvement, have web development experience, have excellent team skills, and be able to perform under tight time constraints.

Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and add functionality to our proprietary enterprise resource planning (ERP) software which runs on a LAMP stack
  • Maintain and add to existing APIs
  • Assist with updates to our proprietary mobile app
  • Write code for embedded systems
  • Assist with other small development projects as they arise
  • Ensure security standards as well as efficiency for all code written

Required qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Strong ability to problem-solve
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of software development concepts
  • Ability to deliver working solutions in a variety of programming languages

Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Individuals must be able to reach with hands and arms. Candidates must also be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
