About us

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology practice in northern Phoenix! This is a fantastic position for a personable and reliable Front Desk Receptionist. Experience with medical practices is preferred but not required. We value the patient experience and strive to be a modern, efficient clinic that genuinely cares about each patient. This is NOT a high volume clinic, therefore there will be ample time to complete other office tasks, such as prior authorizations and new patient scheduling. Positive client-facing skills are a must! Our team currently consists of one Physician and one Medical Assistant, with potential plans for adding additional providers in the near future. The anticipated start date will be late mid-May for training/orientation. Salary is based on experience as a Receptionist.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
  • Answer patient phone calls and requests, schedule and confirm appointments, greet/room patients.
  • Provide general office support; including faxing, copying and scanning, filing, data entry.
  • Complete prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
  • Calculate patient liability according to verification of insurance benefits. Collect deposits and co-payments.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Request prior medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in front office duties.
  • Experience in a medical practice is preferred but not required.
  • Reliable, motivated, proactive in solving problems.
  • Must be familiar with using a computer, including: pdf, excel, word, email.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
