Position Title: Hybrid - Reconciliations Analyst (Entry Level)

Pay: $22/hr. - $24/hr.

Job Overview:

A global financial services organization with presence in more than 40 countries is currently hiring within their accounting team for an Analyst. The reconciliations analyst will be working extensively with MS Excel and will be responsible for processing and reconciling complex transactions relating to loan and security payments.

They are open to bringing on a recent accounting & finance graduate for this position, as they have excellent training procedures in place! An ideal candidate must have excellent MS Excel skills and be able to use Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs comfortably.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing the most complex transactions or reconcilements relating to loan or security payments
• Providing remittance and correction information to servicer; monitoring and analysis of pooled loans to determine non-compliance, communication of information to investors
• Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
• Participates in system enhancements by attending user group and testing
• Loan reconciliations using MS Excel
• Identify and communicate processing exceptions that are relevant to similar series across individual portfolios. Incumbents must maintain a working knowledge of their area of expertise, including Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration. May propose recommendations and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, statistics, or related field
• Internship experience preferred in related field
• Advanced MS Excel skills – Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP
