Job Description

Acara solution is looking for Electromechanical Assembler for our client located in New Kensington, PA

• The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level I (Assembly Technician) will be responsible to wire and assemble drives, sub-assemblies and various components in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bills of material utilizing hand and power tools in a team environment.
• Through component assembly - fit, align, drill, cut, or grind materials (metal, glastic).
• Lift and position products to precise location using overhead crane and other material handling devices (power jack, fork truck).
• Move/position product as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area by utilizing 5S practices and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and utilize all PPE.
• Review and follow all ISO workmanship procedures
• Work with Quality Assurance to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Identify discrepancies and questionable conditions related to task and communicate to appropriate personnel.
• Actively participates in Lean continual improvement initiatives.
• Assist less experienced associates.
• May be needed to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Pay and Benefits

• The Salary for this position is $20.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Electromechanical Assembler.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Associate degree in electrical or electronics
• Minimum of 1 year mechanical or electrical
• Experience in a production environment
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools needed.
• Ability to perform responsibilities from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bills of materials.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
