Job Title: Associate Director, Customer Service & Logistics

Reporting to: V.P., Sales

Location: Arroyo Grande, California or Remote

Salary Range: $150 – 165k, annually

Pairwise is based in the start-up friendly Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.


About This Role:

This position plays a critical role on the customer service and sales team, supporting order demand generation, inventory management, and logistical support. The Customer Service & Logistics Associate Director is tasked with providing outstanding customer service and is a key liaison between sales, operations, supply, and customers. Additionally, this position collaborates on order management activities, and provides inventory management and logistical support.


Essential Functions:

  • Design, Build & Lead the Customer Service & Logistics team processes and flow.
  • Monitor and generate order demand in partnership with customers and their divisions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues that require immediate attention to the appropriate department or supervisor.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and policies in order to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Assists other team members in tasks to ensure quality customer service, meeting deadlines and sales support.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Assist with inventory management including daily/weekly/yearly supply and demand targets.
  • Continuously develop and improve customer service skills and knowledge through training, coaching, and self-learning.
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.


Required Education & Experience:

  • B.S./BA or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with computers to the expert level utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications, and ERP order entry systems.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information for protracted periods of time.
  • Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely.
