Business Development Analyst
This position is located at our Headquarter building in Itasca, IL.

Keyence is seeking an experienced Business Development Analyst for the Data Science arm of the Strategic Business Development team. We are looking for someone technically savvy and creative enough to develop unique solutions to complex problems. Your projects will help inform business strategies, optimize business processes, and identify new areas of business potential. You should have strong technical skills, time management skills, and be proactive in identifying new areas for opportunity and growth.

Responsibilities and Duties
Database optimization and management
AWS infrastructure maintenance
Developing automation solutions to solve complex business problems.
Build analytical models within our data science environment, DataIku.
Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Informatics, Statistics, Math, or other quantitative field.
1-2 years’ experience as an advanced data scientist or data analyst preferred.
Experience creating, deploying, and managing an AWS cloud infrastructure.
Highly motivated and responsible for self-learning. You will be expected to continuously improve your skillset.
Experience with relational database management.
Highly organized attentive to detail. Our team and individuals will rely on your work to make strategic decisions.
Experience building, evaluating, and tuning machine learning models.
Experience optimizing code, pipelines, and workflows for efficiency.
Proficient in SQL, Python or R.
Troubleshooting with Linux is a plus.
Scala, HTML, Java, DataIku, Tableau, or Knowledge of SSH and VPCs preferred
