Job Description
Our client a Springfield, MA based company in the health insurance/medical space is looking to hire several Customer Service Representatives on a direct hire basis as soon as possible. The client is known to move quickly through the interview process and will offer a competitive salary and full benefits package upon hire. This will be a Monday through Friday traditional office hours role and will offer a completely remote schedule.
The client is only looking for people to apply if you live in Nevada, Oregon or Washington state.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess effective communication skills and be patient, resilient and stress tolerant
- A minimum of two years’ work experience in customer service working in a health insurance setting or medical billing office
- Ability to work a Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm PST schedule
- Customer-focused with a genuine interest in helping others
- Cooperative and enjoy working with others as part of a team
- Mature, responsible and dependable with focus and attention to detail
- Above average computer proficiency skills with ability to type
- Stable work history
- Excellent phone etiquette skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining integrity and quality of service
- Ability to handle multiple queues and be a knowledgeable subject matter expert
- Must be meet or exceed the minimum individual call standards
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Complete understanding of the customer service process
- Meet and/or exceed productivity standards
- Review and respond to email inquiries from company website within 24 hours
- Provide accurate responses to callers
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure calls are answered within queue standards
- Adhere to deadlines/turn-around times
- Demonstrates the ability to comprehend and interpret documents, such as: training manuals, correspondence, brochures, cheat sheets etc.
- Ensure that all voicemail messages are obtained, and calls are returned within 24 hours
- Communicates issues, concerns etc. to supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
