Come join the Skunk Works team! The Supply Chain team is seeking Subcontract Management Staff.

In this fast-paced role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our suppliers. Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages and resolve complex supplier performance issues. In this role, you will have a lasting impact to our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on-time delivery. You will serve as consult to management and provide guidance on team objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Procure goods and services through the administration of purchase orders and subcontracts

• Works with management to develop and execute team acquisition strategy

• Manage supplier relationships and deliverables

• Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives.

• Compile and analyze data

• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management

• Some business travel to supplier sites as needed

• Lead teammates formally or informally

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen and possess an Interim Secret Clearance for consideration.
Basic Qualifications:

• College/university, or a minimum of 8 years of professional experience

• Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system; such as Procure to Pay

• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• A history of increasing responsibility and team leadership or mentor

• Advanced Microsoft Office experience

Desired Skills:

• 8+ years' experience in supply chain management, procurement or purchasing

• Experience working independently and in a collaborative, team-based environment

• Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

• Experience in preparing Request for Proposal packages, evaluating supplier proposals, managing subcontracts and supplier relationships.

• Risk Management and Development of mitigation plans with Suppliers, Supplier Performance Teams and Internal Customers

• Experience in TINA Negotiations Experience or Competition Experience

Demonstrated Project/Program Management skills

• Experience negotiating pricing/schedule

• Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions

• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry

• Experience interpreting policies & procedures and then applying concepts

• Experience engaging supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
