Job Description

Do You:

  • Regularly think creatively to analyze and solve problems?
  • Prefer working with fun, energetic, exciting co-workers?
  • Want to help grow a thriving law firm that is heavily reliant on technology and always willing to try something new to provide greater benefit to its business clients?
  • Seek an opportunity to work in a law firm, but looking for a relaxed environment?
  • Have significant technology aptitude and appreciate being on the cutting-edge of advances in legal services?

Are you:

  • Tired of the ridiculous, stale, and rigid policies of most employers (especially law firms!)?
  • Looking for happiness and freedom in your work?
  • Someone who wants to improve (or establish) their work-life balance?
  • Looking for an opportunity that rewards good work and doesn't require you to stress with long and pressure-packed hours?

If the answer to these questions is “Yes!” and if you are interested in an in-person administrative role in Sandy Springs, Georgia, we may have the ideal position for you.

We are Lefkoff Law, LLC, and we provide holistic legal services to small businesses throughout Georgia with a specific focus on the motor vehicle industry – dealers, finance, repair, repossession, scrap, and auctions.

We are an innovative provider of legal services, always trying out new ways to provide clients with an exceptional experience and never afraid to try out new software to get us there.

Our Sandy Springs-based law firm is looking for that special firm administrator to work full time (approximately 30 hours per week) managing a boutique law firm and its clients.

Some firms have a practice-area niche. We have an industry niche. In our niche in the motor vehicle industry, we handle different practice areas. Clients think of us as the legal Quarterback of their team – the ball comes to us first. If that sounds exciting, you may be the right fit.

Because clients are businesses, we look at clients’ disputes from an economical perspective, not an emotional one. If you are afraid to talk on the phone and practically become friends with business owners, this job is not for you. If you can talk to a wall and make friends with it, we’d like to talk with you.

We are seeking a full-time firm administrator to fill a salaried position with a focus on personal growth and happiness. Your personal autonomy, freedom, and values are prioritized at our firm. As the firm administrator, you will work hand-in-hand with the firm’s founder and associate attorney to grow and develop the law firm from the inside. This is a full-time position, which means for us in the range of approximately 30 hours per week (i.e. 9AM-3PM daily).

Our core values are:

  • Happiness First: What makes you happy makes us happy. We foster a working environment where everyone is smiling and looks forward to work. What we do can sometimes be emotionally taxing, but the people we work with aren’t.
  • The Golden Rule is Gold: You are responsible for yourself. Honesty and integrity are our priority and everyone at Lefkoff Law advocates for their clients with honesty and integrity. We carry our names forever and will not tarnish them.
  • Technology is Our Friend: We are a Mac-based law firm and regularly find ourselves trying out new software, tinkering with our current systems, and innovating, and are not afraid to learn something new or change how we do things.

We are also philanthropists. The firm makes quarterly donations on behalf of each employee to that employee’s selected non-profit charity. Causes that are important to you are important to us.

Compensation:

$55,000+ DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls
  • E-filing pleadings and court documents
  • New and existing client matter creation and onboarding
  • Manage unpaid invoices (i.e. – send collection emails/texts/letters, etc.)
  • Client management (i.e. – check-in calls and emails, cards, gifts, etc.)
  • Prepare letter and pleading templates
  • Create, draft, and maintain firm policies and procedures
  • Manage membership program (i.e. – onboard new members, manage backend platform, post articles, etc.)
  • Manage emails to firm founder
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain office supplies (manage supply amounts, order office supplies)

  • Review software and hardware options for the firm and its employees, test new software for firm use
  • Maintain client and case lists
  • Maintain deadline calendar/tasks
  • Draft cover letters for document filing and service
  • Oversee skip trace investigations and service of court documents
  • Manage Lefkoff Law electronic file system (i.e. – ensure documents are saved in their proper location, documents received by form and by e-mail are saved, etc.)
  • Calls to courts, clerks, and investigators for updates and info
  • Book new client strategy sessions
  • Manage prospective clients
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with GSuite (Google Docs and Drive), Microsoft Office, Mac OS, and the technical aptitude to learn new systems.
  • High technology aptitude
  • A great conversationalist and email writer, with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility.
  • Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you.
  • A constant drive to improve the experience of clients and our internal processes: "How can I make things better?"
  • Client empathy. You empathize with clients and seek to solve problems from their perspective.
